I must say that I really love Xonotic already. Today was the first day that I really tested everything and adjusted all possible settings like the HUD and I can just strongly recommend to move. The movements feel fresh and new but that's surely not a reason to refuse Xonotic

I really enjoy the feeling of the game, every movement feels smooth and logical.
Everything except for the laser, lol!

The laser will be fixed. Either the devs do it or I'll hack the code myself.
Otherwise I'm pretty satisfied although I spent 3 hours on our new server yesterday while I should have done schoolwork lol.
Would be cool to play DBC @ Xonotic next Saturday.

I absolutely love the physics, gives so much control and allows crazy unpredictable maneuvers. Neolink should love that

unfortunately that is a perfomance "boot" and not boost it crashes my xonotic .. mah

Change to a Mac

Imported the Nexus playermodel from Nexuiz - should improve performance for everyone.

Is it busy now? Did other people move?

I'll try it... No promises my PC will hold up.. It's much worse these days.

Well there are new players, players who play xonotic and nexuiz and those who refuse to switch.
It had been busy every evening till now.

The laser is fixed now. Just needs a little tweaking but overall it feels like the nexuiz one. And I noticed that certain cvars don't work anymore/give a black screen. Especially those who gave an unfair advantage. Now I wonder why certain kiddos refuse to switch

Yes, I heard Asgar complaining about a few settings, which gave him a black screen. I thought that settings maked it possible to more or less look through walls, which in Xonotic is considered as cheating. Also heard Akari complaining about such things

Just build a new playerbase. We could do without those wallhacking creeps anyway.

If it's suffering from players in a few weeks still. I'll do what I did a few years back and throw myself around some forums shoving it down everyones throat.
