The Basis of the game is rather simple:
1 point for a frag,
1 point for thawing a team-mate - Thaw time 7 seconds
1 team point {like a ctf capture point} for freezing a whole team.
This enables newer players to score just by thawing and even newer players assist you that way. Don't know how much the videos help but they were the best videos i could find to demonstrate it.
