Stats for our servers!

Thanks to Antibody and Samuel and their XonStat project we now have stats for our servers:

I haven't tested that much, but give it a try and take a look on your own stats. Make sure that your nickname gets registered (type that in console):

Quote :: cl_allow_uid2name 1

There is one bug: matches are always shown as loss on your profile, no matter if you win or lose.

I'll update the servers to the latest autobuild soon to fix the bug which causes some matches to not being registered.

Yay, I did indeed work hard to get up inthat list. Only one game of 12 sec displayed lol

Everything seems to work fine now, though the old matches are still missing.

I'll give it a try, do you have to register while on certain servers? to register for that server or is it just one command once in the console and it always works?

Also does it update immediately after every match or everyday at a certain time? Finally does it calculate games vs bots?

Once you have played a game with that cvar enabled your player id is registered and all games that you play on XonStat-connected servers will be registered. At least in theory because right now the non-minsta servers seem to be broken.

immediately or never lol

Matches get recorded if at least two human players are on the end-game scoreboard afaik.

Looks a bit strange how the rank of a player is counted: if e.g. 16 players (8vs8) play and your team loses, you can get rank not higher than 9th no matter how high your score is.

That feature wasn't made for CTF, just ignore it for now. You can give feedback there or on #xonstat @ FreeNode.

Why isn't NK on xonotic yet?? Smile

I advertise among NKs for xonotic but mostly about the ctf exile server. Some of them agreed to come (mara, curson, blacktail). Some tried already and complain about performance drop.

The performance is mostly bad on the new maps. If you stick to the maps you love to play in nexuiz you shouldn't have problems. Also you can use the nexus model from nexuiz, like we did on our server, That gives a performance boost too for most people.

There were some updates to XonStats since I created this thread. Make sure to regularly check out the stats of your favorite server! For example the eXiLe CTF server-> http://srv02.xonotic.org:6543/server/7
