Nexgun model

What kind of Nexgun model do you use?

I totally dislike the default minstanex .. hell it's ugly .. that's why I have chosen the nexgun made by prophets. But it's getting a little to look at so I definitely need a new one. Does anybody has any suggestions (NO exilenexgun .. lol .. no offense .. )

You mean the prophetexilenexgun? haha

Well I don't even use that anymore I use a slightly changed version of Redroom's gun.

I don't want to screw up Nexuiz data so i didn't change anything, but i guess you can tell me ^__^"

changing the nexgun model doesn't mess up your nexuiz. You can just drop the .pk3-file into your data-folder and the model will be loaded whenever you enter the game. In case you want to get rid of it you can just take the file out and the default (ugly) nexgun will be restored. The point is: where to get nice models? Any ideas?

Well I'm not 100% sure but I think you can import quake 3 models, as far as im aware of though the only models that have ever been created are the prophets one, redroom one and dtg one.

And were can u find these models?

To import Quake models you'd need Quake installed. Maybe you could install open arena and import the models from there,

this is q3 railgun, imported by iron from what i remember... it's pretty good, i was using it for quite a long time
